No, I can honestly say I have never ONCE heard of anyone on the right organizing a twitter campaign to harass someone, hound them into hiding, get them fired from their job, and ultimately ruin their life.

The closest to that I have ever heard of was over James Gunn. I believe his old tweets were found by a right-winger. But all that person did was toss it out into left-wing twitter like a side of beef into a pool of hungry piranha.

That's an organization, not some nobody individual riling up a mob so they can build up their radleft cred.

Also, they only tried to get her fired from an endorsement gig, not from her actual job (actress/comedian), and they didn't try to flat out ruin her life or hound her into hiding.

Yeah, what the AFA did was a shitty move, but it's not on the same level as the crap leftists have pulled recently.

One difference is, as shitty as it is, you at least half expect it from certain organizations, and tend not to feel as personally attacked as when it's started by Jane or Jack Shitheel from Buttf**k, California, whom you've never met, let alone said "boo" to, but who have decided to make you their personal crusade. Or even worse, when it's started by the person in the next office whom you chat with on a friendly-seeming basis every day.

And remember, we're talking about individuals who get Twitter riled up and organize and /directly incite/ actual harassment campaigns. To use your own analogy, what's worse, getting stung by hundreds of bees, or getting stung by /thousands/ of bees?

And somehow I doubt the AFA told people to go to Ellen's home to protest and threaten her.
