Call cnn! This is actually good. Now Assanges can bring out more information.
I'm just enjoying the show!

Oh cry us a river! This guy is a POS and you're defending him. He's going to jail for at least two or three years. You all on your knees for Putin too? The GOP is turning into the party of traitors. 35 who have plead guilty, been indicted or convicted. NEXT!

I bet is he doesn't do a day. And this meme isn't about whether he's guilty or not, but the showboating. Ya don't send 19 vehicles and 29 heavily armed people after someone for process crimes unless you're trying to make a media spectacle. Which you wouldn't have to do if you had anything real. This is the work of someone desperately trying to justify their existence.

Absolutely love your comment. I bet 5yrs ago you were rooting for local law enforcement to get any and all military surplus they asked for, during the Obama years. THIS IS WHAT POLICE DO!

You partisan hacks. All the blacks on the planet can be shot without cause and everyone you disagree with can be apprehended any way you like but the moment one of yours is apprehended in a way you feel is inappropriate, you cry fowl.

Too bad in your eyes blue lives don't matter.

They had no idea what to expect from a top ranking person with Russian connections and possible Julian Assange connections. Maybe he isn't dangerous, maybe he is.

How I love getting on your nerves. Stone is a self described, "dirty trickster". May he get everything that's coming to him.

You saying stupid triggered liberal shit doesn't get on my nerves. I realize I'm dealing with a moron who's mentally challenged, and I take that into consideration when dealing with you. If Stone did something wrong, let him get what's coming to him. I don't give two shits about any of them. I just point out the theater taking place and you jump to all these "dumb f**king" conclusions about me. That's what is amusing. My pointing it out is just another way to keep the meme alive and keep the points going. I don't make these things to change hearts and minds. Only idiots do that. I simply put shit out there that gets the conversation started, and I comment if I have free time. That's why I upvote others' comments as well, to keep the conversation going.

Also concerns over possible attempts to destroy evidence.
Two officers knocking on the door, flashing a badge, and reading a warrant just wouldn't cut it with this one.

This was an arrest and he was out moments after he was processed. No major crimes going on that would warrant this level of armed men, which is really the point of the meme. His innocence of guilt is not something I can know, only the level of the charge and its very public way of announcing it. Just seems like theater to me. It's not like this was a drug cartel hideout. They could've called him on the phone and he would have turned himself in. The "evidence" was already in their possession, had been for over a year. I could be missing something, but I fail to see why this level of f**kery was necessary in the apprehension of a 70 year old who had been cooperating. CNN just happening to be there was also peculiar, but I'll concede that it could happen. I just make the memes to get conversation started, not to settle anything.

Obstructing an investigation, lying to Congress, witness tampering.
Not only was his house searched for evidence, but also his apartment in Harlem and a recording sudio in Florida.

And like SPatoine pointed out, since the police in even the most insignificant nowhere municipalities were doled out military equipment since 9/11 like it was goverment cheese, they like to make a big show of using it.

Lol ok. I'm not going to go for that military takedown but I'll wait and see about the charges. He's been talking about his experience with the FBI for a while now. He's not pleading any deals, which is why we're here. This Mueller is making good on a threat.

I tend to roll my eyes at these 'events' because they get all drummed up only to fizzle. So if this apparent over the top show yeilds anything more than "he fibbed on testimony because folks tend to not like greasing their road to prison" we can only wait and see.
Mueller & Co aren't going to lay out all they have till the proper times comes, so I'm not hedging my bets on anything other than just another page to turn on a novel whose screen adaptation will make The Lord of the Rings look like a Geico commercial.

In the indictment Mueller stated Stone was at risk of running and also at risk to destroy evidence. THAT, is the main reason there were so many people at his house. To go through all his things gathering evidence.

Risk of running...is that why he was out in less than an hour after being processed? So that he could run? Not buying it. He used that statement to justify his actions, but the fact that dude was out on bail in minutes means that the only people buying that load of shit was media sheep. Stone has done multiple interviews over the last few months saying this was going to happen and why. He looks forward to hashing this out in court. Should be a good show.

Yes it should. Trump has surrounded himself with big mouths that think they can lie their way through life. So far the ones that have been caught, have become a lot less boisterous. I'm sure he will too when he's got years of prison time ahead of him.

Reasonable bail must be set, as laid out by the bill of rights. And if he was a flight risk, I'm sure he'd have not been released on bail without relinquishing his passport to help mitigate the flight risk. Not that I know these details, just sharing what I have learned from personal experience, and would expect to have happened.

Yes. Possible. The question is whether or not he was communicating directly with Julian Assange and coordinating the leaking of material. He knew that weekly, information was going to be dumped. Had to be talking with someone.

For all we know, Cambridge Analytica data was given directly to the Russians so they could precisely target American voters to help sway the election. That, combined with working together on the release of stolen emails. Trump himself, egging on the Russians to commit crime and find the emails.

Love the fact that this douchebag is caught up in criminal activity due to Mueller getting hold of his emails.

Lock him up, lock him up!

Mueller indictment says Roger Stone was coordinating with Trump officials about WikiLeaks' stolen emails. This is the first time prosecutors have alleged they know of additional people close to the President who worked with Stone as he sought out WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Here is the indictment. I don't know why you guys can't find this stuff for yourselves. https://d3i6fh83elv35t.cloudfront.net/static/2019/01/Roger-Stone-indictment.pdf

It could be said that all charges are related to collusion. The guy was lying about everything Trump, wikileaks, julian assange, stolen emails, Russian relations. That's why he's in trouble.
3 ups, 6y
Hey, that doesn't look like Trump's Tweeter account. So it's flake noose.

I don't dispute that Stone had Wikileaks contacts. However, it's incredibly obvious that there is NO RUSSIAN CONNECTION.

It's pretty obvious that when the DNC realized they had been hacked they cried "Russia" without any evidence. In fact, all evidence points to the UK.

The introduction number (2.) is the only thing that ties any of this to Russia, and it's totally unverified. They'd probably lose a court case for libel/slander if they had claimed an American citizen had done it.

It's a bull shit investigation. Another person going to jail for lying during a fake investigation. F**k the FBI.

It has been established for at least two years that Wikileaks is an arm of the Russian government. How you can say Stone had wikileaks contacts and follow that with no Russian connection, boggles the mind.
