And those nutty ideas are responsible for wrecking places like Seattle, and Portland Oregon; both cities are now run by nutty left wing-nuts as a result of their fleeing the nutty ideas of California.

Colorado is turning bluer and bluer as well due to Californian immigrants. We've got a taxpayer bill of rights which stops them from arbitrarily raising our taxes without our permission and it's the only thing stopping them from completely wrecking our economy and standard of living. It's also their #1 target legislation to kill.

New Hampshire used to be a very conservative state, with a small government. Many liberals fled the high taxation of Massachusetts for the low taxes of New Hampshire. Once they got there, they started asking questions like “Why don’t we have streetlights?”, and “What do you mean, I have problems with my septic system? Why don’t we have town sewage?”, and “Why doesn’t the school have a golf team? My kid is a good golfer”. The size and scope of government grew, the taxes have gone sky high, and it is now a liberal state. I’ve seen all of this first hand, living in a very rural, sparsely populated area.

It often seems to go: question data, demand sources, sources provided, disparage sources, attack, attack, attack.

There are those who don't engage in that style of discussion, but some who do.

Because of out of control costs of living, which are worst in democrat controlled states. The middle class is dying because the government is taking too much from them and the people that provide them goods and services. When taxes go up, the cost of living does not go down. People then need to make up that slack, and they do that by charging more for rent, charging more for goods, services, or labor. They also make up for it by cutting jobs.

And they move to conservative states and vote for the same policies that destroyed cali.
