If they are coming here for jobs, they've been misinformed. I'm pretty sure that none of those in the caravan are coming here to practice law, medicine or engineering. They are unskilled labor and most of those jobs are either already filled, soon to be automated, or shipped overseas. You are correct, there are many legal immigrants in the military. It is a faster way to citizenship.

There is a big difference between legal and illegal immigrants. Legal immigrants are vetted and have worked hard to come here. Legal immigrants have a lower criminal instance that even native Americans. Maybe because they understand how valuable a green card is.

Illegal immigrants, on the other hand, have a 30% higher crime rate than legal residences. This is why vetting and background checks are so important. It also shows that having to work for something makes it more valuable.

They are coming here from their own country to get jobs in the U.S. Jobs that, had they stayed in their own country, would exist if they used this horde for it. They demand charity by saying we should allow them to come into the country. Anybody that thinks a mob needs to be used to get into the U.S shouldn't be allowed in.
