I was at the store earlier tonight and they had a 'Bunker' in the Freezer section with 'Gluten Free' Cheesecake... Or should I say "Cheezecake"... upon further inspection it was 'Gluten Free, Dairy Free, GMO Free"...

Next to that affront to nature was similarly composed Pumpkin Pie knock off, as well as a 'Vegan Turkey' with the loophole spelling of "Turk'y" and some other 'Meatless "meat" called 'Quorn'... which despite the implied pronunciation is apparently made from a Fungus, not Corn....

I once worked at "The Inn of the 7th Ray" in Topanga - for a night (Valentines day).

I learned the term "Seitan" there. You see - Vegans... The Occult...

Not really... They just don't eat meat or animal products. I don't really see what's wrong with that.

It was just a joke. "Seitan" is a meat substitute made from gluten. The restaurant I mentioned is a 'new age' bookstore, as well. Calling people who're into 'the occult' Devil worshippers may be equally unfair - though it does seem to be 'en vogue' these days.
