Criminals always check the gun laws before they commit crimes.
Liberal logic AmiRight?
School shootings would drop by 90% if liberals were banned instead of guns. True story

You aren't accounting for age. If todays millennials voted, Repubs would lose every time.
1 up, 6y
In theory, yes, but with Gerrymandering, Republicans would still win many they wouldn't otherwise.
0 ups, 6y,

I'm not sure that is correct. Analysis of personality and character traits show that they lead to conservative or liberal values. Age is unlikely to be a factor, or at least not a significant one.

So, it looks like, as you age, your group is more likely to be evenly split between Democrat and Republican. This graph is not fully informative. How many people are answering the questions based on their perception of the political sphere and not necessarily on their own well developed ideals?
1 up, 6y,

I was basically looking at the most recent numbers, not so much how they have changed over time. there is a clear inverse as you go from the millennial generation to the silent generation.

LOOK! I have a graph too. Still not convinced that age/generation is a huge factor in political position.
ooh, a graph. Three graphs can require a bachelors, years, and several of pages of explanation to properly interpret.

In 2016 only 17% of millennials had a favorable view of Trump, and 60% had a "very unfavorable" view of him. Overall only 28% (reuters) expressed overt support for Republicans in 2018. According to Pew this year, 70% of millennial women are Democrats. Everything I find indicates young people today are typically Dem and the older you are the more likely it is that they're Repub.

So going back to the original comment, you could look at 55% and say half of the millennials who voted were Democrat. But this is obviously considerably more than the Republican 37% or Independent..
If you don't believe millennials are mostly Dem based on my blatherings or the internet stats provided , go talk to them and find out for yourself.
1 up, 6y
Couple things.. PS2 is almost 20 years old.. try to keep up.
my original point was IF.. IF.. millennials actually voted, repubs would lose. I'm well aware that in 2016 only half them voted. And it seems entirely plausible (based on your "stats and polls" news articles) that the majority of millennials who didn't vote were Dem, because they figured Hillary had it in the bag.
0 ups, 6y
your pie chart is meaningless and misleading because it blatantly cuts out the gravest group of millennials- the basement dwellers, who wouldn't vote at all....
The unprettified statistics would moreover look like this.

PS2 and it's successors has had its clout on the youth since almost 20 years as you stated. Gaming addiction has become an epidemic since the millennium turned and has f**ked up a whole generation (said millennials). Your claim millennials didn't go to the polls because they thought Clinton would win is utterly delusive. They just don't care; it's as simple as that. They wouldn't even vote if they could do so by SMS from their basements. Imho the only millennials capable to wake up, get away from their devices and go to the polls in November are the autists from the 8chan (who are legion btw).

"Three graphs can require a bachelors, years, and several of pages of explanation to properly interpret."

Graphs are made so that even the most simple minded can understand data at it's most basic rendering.

If you need to go to college to figure them out, might I suggest getting picked up by a short yellow bus for some much needed remedial classes prior to taking your SATs?

Failing a response from me, you replied to me in another thread. Sorry I didn't keep going.
Do people like whom they like because of their skin tone? Short answer, no. What I assert is that the interests of black communities in the US align more with Democratic values than Conservative values. I would expect that to show in graphs that show choice of political alignments, like these.

Try looking up statistics(graphs) comparing rates of incidence of rape. They say something, but it is misleading and uninformative. I think there are far more graphs that need one to dig deeper to get a real understanding of why they show what they show.

Politicians look at rates of crime in the US and see a higher rate of crime and violent crime an conclude that black people break the law and commit violence at a higher rate because they're black. That simple mindedness in our politics is something that makes me more skeptical and ask more questions. People on this site challenge me and do get me to discover things I did not know.

"overly simplistic views" I do not think black people dislike trump because they're black, I think they dislike him because his politics conflict with their interests. I do not think young people as a "bloc" dislike trump because they're young, I think they dislike trump because they are interested in a fair and equitable world and trump is not. They are in favor of worker health and safety and trump is not. Their values and interests conflict with trump's politics. Being young isn't what is defining who they are, this community of young people have similar experiences which generally guide them in a particular direction.

There you go again, pretending you can speak for others.
I posted on that thread regarding your hypocrisy on charts after decrying them here.

You still keep talking in terms of "they." You're like Spurs and Grind and the rest of the bots on that front page thread now, only they believe the monolithic herd of Negroids should follow Kanye's cues because he's a rap celeb.

Young folks in general have a greater tendency to lean more liberal, becoming more conservative as they age. They also tend to be more short sighted and selfish - more prone to trends shaping their principles than actual altruism and concerns for the longterm.
Obviously not all of them are, as can be seen with some of the younger conservative extremist Trumpites here.

I'm missing your point. If you want me to get better at something or stop something, I need you to be more clear. This isn't fruitful conversation.

Your sentence in your picture is very confusing and may not mean anything. Can you rephrase?

Um, black people might not like trump because trump hasn't been friendly to black people and other minorities. Graphs can show relationships and data points. If every graph is so clear. What is instantaneous forward voltage and how does it impact the design of a circuit? What does it tell you about a diode? Why do black persons lean left far more than right? What is the history? What cultural factors are there if any? How does law enforcement play a role? What are all these other important details that are necessary for understanding the divide and creating policy in order to win some of them over?

Went digging for a physics graph? How utterly impressive. Golly, I am stumped.
Now you have my formal permission to proceed to get a doctorate in poli sci to decipher what the (D)blue line signifies when it goes upwards, and the (R)red line mean as it goes downwards.

No, I won't since you replied to it.

People support and vote for whom they wish, despite your overly simplistic views that characterize those who don't share your skin tone as monolithic blocks as opposed to individuals with their own thinking and decision making capabilities.
You SJWs crack me up. Disguising your stereoptyping and racist hatred under the guise of smug condescending benefinence.
