Failing a response from me, you replied to me in another thread. Sorry I didn't keep going.
Do people like whom they like because of their skin tone? Short answer, no. What I assert is that the interests of black communities in the US align more with Democratic values than Conservative values. I would expect that to show in graphs that show choice of political alignments, like these.
Try looking up statistics(graphs) comparing rates of incidence of rape. They say something, but it is misleading and uninformative. I think there are far more graphs that need one to dig deeper to get a real understanding of why they show what they show.
Politicians look at rates of crime in the US and see a higher rate of crime and violent crime an conclude that black people break the law and commit violence at a higher rate because they're black. That simple mindedness in our politics is something that makes me more skeptical and ask more questions. People on this site challenge me and do get me to discover things I did not know.
"overly simplistic views" I do not think black people dislike trump because they're black, I think they dislike him because his politics conflict with their interests. I do not think young people as a "bloc" dislike trump because they're young, I think they dislike trump because they are interested in a fair and equitable world and trump is not. They are in favor of worker health and safety and trump is not. Their values and interests conflict with trump's politics. Being young isn't what is defining who they are, this community of young people have similar experiences which generally guide them in a particular direction.
