Could have been a weak form of protest against language policing. I mean, why put heterosexual instead of straight as an option and not put homosexual instead of gay/lesbian?

I realize it's a stretch and he's probably just an idiot, but that's how my mind works, I look at as many explanations as I can think of.

I believe it's more of being unaware of the word. And it could be, seeing gay and bi-sexual can throw you off.

I’m not sure if they think about this, but I feel like saying ‘straight’ (depending on where you’re from) implies moral superiority. I think they should just put pictures lol. That would work for gender too... circle the picture that closest resembles your genital region...

I hope people don't get the wrong impression of this meme. It's to point out that hetero is strait. The person made a misunderstanding. Buford T. Justice is pointing out the stupidity. Myself, I don't care if someone is gay, strait, or bi. Imo, it's shouldn't be asked anyway. Maybe by a doctor.
