Turns out they were being trained to shoot up schools, but not quite the training camp nor a school as another on this site have characterized it to be.

I hadn't heard that training part on the news, then again, I've avoided the story lately because it's depressing.

How much news coverage did it get? 2 mins? 5 mins? A special report? An hour long debate made up of a panel of supposed experts?
I thought liberals were concerned about children being shot while attending school. Guess I was wrong. Wait... I know, This story doesn't fit the narrative that Muslims are peaceful & only White Republican NRA members own guns.

Even better, a Democrat judge released them on bond. They are walking free right now, even though a dead child was found at their compound and there is evidence they were training kids to shoot up schools, the judge couldn't find any reason that they should be in jail.

$20,000 bail. That's it. Out and back down to business. Apparently that judge has a history of going easy on criminals.

I read they don't have to pay a cent unless they violate the terms of their release. Not sure if that's true or not, but regardless it seems like madness.

Not at all. I was relieved to see him droning them, I would have just liked to have seen it sooner. But better late than never. My argument is his public statements where he either watered down the threat or completely denied that Islamic terrorism exists.

I realize that the tech can't be used until it is developed. Obama did have a penchant for blowing his own horn, would you not agree? Also, while I have never been to the Middle East I know people who have, and they have talked about the rules of engagement of the time. It's actually pretty shocking, and it came from the top.
