One example: Illegal immigrants are preventing the entrance of legal immigrants. Illegals are getting the asylum that the legal immigrants should be getting because our justice system is required by law to process illegals. This means they fill up shelters and court dates so our country is forced to turn away legal immigrants because there is no space or court dates left.

To summarize the border situation: It's not working in the current state that it's in. Too many are coming to the US and we don't have a way to stop it or process the people. A major reform has to happen and the biggest problem is the massive number flowing in. A wall provides a realistic way to control that flow and is absolutely needed.
