NATO missions are comprised of how many foreigners? Dozen from here n there, sometimes a few hundred, with the UK a distant 2nd to us with some thousands?
It's about time Planet Welfare tried weening itself off of America's teat. The world economy could use some diversification. Staring at our affairs worried about the next economic bubble, contraction, hiccup causing a meltdown in yours sucks balls.
Think, the last one - the Great Recession - was rooted mainly in the collapse of a real estate bubble and all that stemmed from that, one largely fueled by first time home owner poor folks who suddenly decided they didn't want to afford their mortgages any more. And that's in a Canada yearning for more arrivals, hoping to replicate what the US has done that you have not been able to do despite a shared colonial history, continent and resources.
