The truth

I see a bunch of opinions without any facts to make me believe them to be true. I agree with some of them and some I don't. That isn't the point however, you can't say something is true simply because your perspective makes YOU believe it is.

Having people agree with your opinion does not make it true. Anybody that believes something to be true without any proof is naive and gullible. The world is filled with people trying to force their opinions on others because they are unable to view things beyond their own limited knowledge and experience. That's why the majority of racists rarely know anybody of another race. Why the majority of homophobes have usually never spent any time around gay people. Why people against abortion have never been impregnated by a rapist.

All they know is that they have different opinions and views on the world than theirs. Instead of opening their minds and their hearts to another opinion they make war on them. They close their minds to any new information no matter how factual. If you don't agree with them you are wrong is the lie they convince themselves is true. Unfortunately believing something to be true does not make it so. If you are wrong you are wrong no matter how many people tell you that you are right.

I don't care what your opinion is. You are entitled to it even if there are facts that prove it isn't true. What I care about is people trying to make others believe what they do without any facts to back it up. That simply spreads ignorance to the ignorant and tarnish's the things in this world that are actually true.

I am more than willing to change any opinion I have if somebody proves to me it is the wrong one. The thing is, when you know something is honestly the truth, you don't feel the need to have to convince everybody of it. You only post something like this because that little voice in the back of your head keeps wondering why you believe so many things without any proof or facts to base it on. You are hoping that enough people will agree with you to quiet that voice. Maybe you should listen to it instead.....

I didn't say there weren't some I agreed with. I simply have an issue with anybody trying to tell people something is true when they can't possibly know for sure it is. A few truths in a bunch of lies doesn't make the lies any more believable to me.

Because there's a thing called evidence and those who despise Trump have none. If there were truly hacking and "collusion" going on, they would have found it by now.

And if the Russians were hacking and colluding in favor of a candidate, it would be Hillary Clinton, not Donald Trump. They can't stand Donald Trump and he doesn't help them in any way politically.

Trump owes Russian Oligarchs A LOT of money. That alone explains A LOT.

It saddens me so few no anything about trump on either side. he has dealt with the russians since his last major bankruptcy, russian gangsters rent floors in his buildings and have for years. check out the tenants at 666 in manhattan. he owes them (and other foreign entities) . they wanted him in office because the cold war never really ended and trump is an incompetent moron with blackmailable offenses and that works for them. this will not likely end well for anyone I am afraid.

His own son said that Russian banks are just about the only ones who will still give them money, and Trump Moscow has already been in the works.

Best case scenario for their version is that even if Duh Donald wasn't being blackmailed for his classy daliances with Russian hookers (perhaps they just Netflix binged Harry Potter movies while crocheting together), he's still beholden to them simply for being funded.

I think the entire thing is a scam personally. Keep everybody talking about Russia messing with our election, as a way of pretending they matter at all and aren't faker than pro wrestling.

I stopped caring after Bush was made president by a court and not by the people at all. The only thing that changes with a new president is which companies make more money for 4 years. That's why the Republicans didn't want Trump in office. He isn't loyal to their lobbyists he is his own lobbyist. Both parties get tons of money from companies to get them elected. Whoever wins is then expected to pay back that money with laws that help those companies make even more money.

The only thing I liked about Trump is that he didn't need their money. Unfortunately he's an egotistical lunatic that has his own debts to repay.

What disgusts me about politics is that lobbyists and how they do business is common knowledge. They've rigged the system so that winning without their money is nearly impossible. Which makes electing a president that doesn't owe somebody impossible as well. None of those evil bastards is going to vote to get rid of a system that makes them all filthy rich.

Meanwhile the American people are busy squabbling over issues that have no resolution. When the only issue all of us should be trying to resolve is how to fire all of them at once and start from scratch. That will never happen as long as we are divided by our differences, instead of being united by what makes us the same.

There is plenty of evidence they did and Trump agrees they may have. He disputes that his campaign had any collusion with Russians.

If there is no evidence of shadiness why all the guilty pleas and indictments?

If Russia interfered in the election, that only means that the lobbyists couldn't interfere as much as they normally do. Everybody is so worried about what Russia might have done. When our elections have been manipulated for many years by companies with an agenda as bad for us as anything the Russians could try to do.

We had a president lie to all of us about needing to invade a country. We invaded that country and bought all our weapons and gear from his Vice Presidents company. Sure he wasn't part of that company on paper anymore, will never convince me he didn't profit from it. Then we all found out that the reason we sent our soldiers to risk their lives was a lie. What did we do, whine and bicker about it for a while then not a damn thing.

Companies like that one run this world not the governments of countries. They have their own mercenary armies and the power to make an entire country go to war in order to increase their profits. They are the real terrorists, they tell us what to be scared of and who we should blame for being scared. It's the largest misdirect in the history of our world and people lap it up every day like gravy on a biscuit.

Our country isn't at war with the middle east, we lost our country to corporations long ago. Corporations are at war with the middle east and we pay for it with the lives of our soldiers and the taxes that are supposed to go to things like the education of our children.

I try and base my opinions on knowledge and experiences I've obtained in my life. The important part I believe is remaining open to learning new things and having new experiences.

I don't fear people of other races because I grew up in the melting pot of the bay area and know for a fact that people are not defined by the color of their skin. Judging a person on anything other than their actions is ridiculous.

One of my very best friends on the planet is gay. I've known him over 20 years and he only came out to me about a year ago. I was pretty sure he was anyway but to him admitting it out loud was a huge deal. His parents are extremely religious and I live in the bible belt now. The way he was raised literally made him not like himself for the way he feels about other men.
I know for a fact there is no "choice" involved because if he could choose he would pick straight. I could see the fear in his eyes when he told me like I was going to let it destroy all those years of friendship. I just looked at him and said, "all I see is my friend sitting here that's the same person he was 5 minutes ago." All anybody wants is to be accepted for who they are. I choose not to except people that judge others without knowing them. Since the main reason they judge others that way is so they can be accepted and not judged by whatever group of people they let do their thinking for them...

I'm not judging anyone, I'm just speaking the truth. #DRAMA

He's always been a good friend to me, when I moved out here his brother was the first friend I made and longest I have ever had now. I will never understand anybody that could let something like who that person falls in love with matter more than the type of person they are.

I find it sadly amusing that people like to pretend anybody has a choice about who they love. I know I personally have loved women that were absolutely no good for me and I had no reason to love them that made sense to anybody but me. Nobody truly gets to choose who they love, and when in love nobody can change your mind for you. It blows me away that people can say any type of love is a choice, you love who you love and it's that simple. So why can people only be ok with it if they agree with who you love?

People fake being in love for money and power. They manipulate people that love them for their own gains. So to me any form of true love, no matter who it is between, should be something to celebrate in this world full of untruth's.

This is not an opinion, it's facts. That's the point. I'm not writing this to be mean or anything.

It's a mixture of both and that's the truth. You can't prove some of the things on that list it's not possible. I'd like to see you prove homosexuality is a choice. That means you are able to see inside a persons heart and read their mind. Know exactly how they feel and why they feel that way. If one day that somehow becomes possible it won't be the end of gay people. It would be the end of religion...

If this was a liberal meme claiming it's opinions were all true I would have the same problem with that as well. It's been a crazy day for me, I've had this horrible ear infection, fever was 103 when at the ER. So I'm stuck on my butt for a few days and bored as hell lol.

There is this little thing called independent thought. Where you don't allow what you believe is true to be based on what other people want you to think. I hunt and have lots of guns and am a firm supporter of my right to do so. That's not a conservative view that's my view. Do conservatives agree with me, sure, they do not and never will get to influence how I form my opinions. Same thing with liberals, we may agree on a couple things but I won't them influence my opinions either.

There is a lot more to life and the people in it than conservative or liberal. When you get older and experience more of the world than what your parents allow you to. You will figure this stuff out for yourself I hope.

Go forth and find yourself an opinion on something all your own. Go to another country where there aren't any conservatives or liberals and talk to people that have never been influenced by all that garbage. Learn to judge people based on who they are instead of throwing labels on them and thinking that makes you know who they are. You don't, you have no idea. You used a lot of word to not disprove anything you say you disagree with, you are taking the same position as Solarian: what I believe to be true is true and I don't have to back it up.

Just because you put your opinion in list form doesn't make it true, nor is it true because you put a lot of words with it.

When you narrow down the group in question to a single organization the use of determiners like "most" or "many" are not illogical. Especially when that specific organization or group has made their beliefs and agenda well known. So that is a category error.

The descriptors "racists" and "anti-LGBT" do not name a single organization and they cover a wide variety of different types of people and groups. Then in today's climate we have to define our terms to clearly understand what we are talking about.

Interesting how you think I need facts to back up my opinion that some of the things on that list can't be proven to be true. Some issues can't be proven either way, my argument is with somebody saying their side of those issues is the truth. Please do point out to me where it is I wrote that everything I said is the truth. I simply provided examples of things I have noticed throughout my lifetime, not once did I say this is the truth of the matter. These are complicated issues that people will fight about forever because neither side can prove their opinion is the truth.

I wrote that I am perfectly willing to change my opinion if presented with facts that make it obvious I am wrong. I have yet to see that. Where are you proving anything to anybody besides the fact you don't like what I wrote. You know a lot of racists that have friends or spent a decent amount of time around people of another race? You know a lot of homophobes that have friends or spent a decent amount of time around LGBT people? You know some women who were raped and wanted a baby that would be a lifetime reminder of it? It happened to a friend of mine, while I could never personally agree to an abortion of any child I created. I was very glad she was able to have an abortion and that the right to do so should be up to her alone.
