Despite those rare exceptioons, women in divorce proceedings are heavily favored by courts in terms of alimony and child custody, and property. My personal fave was a plant nursery I used to go as a kid with my mom, run by this elderly couple. Their son inherited it, and when he got divorced, his ex wife got the place.
There was a case decades ago where a court had to force the local fire dept to accept women. After they got hired, they claimed the equipment was too heavy, the tasks too strenuous, and were given easier positions normally reserved for older firemen no longer as in great shape. Those men were then instead fired. Granted, was years ago, but as today's military women who what they do is restricted for similar reasons...
