How did nobody catch this before it went on the air?

I have to question the intelligence of the station here. I think a manager should have done further confirmation. That is crazy!

These days it's less about trying to make sure everything is spelled correctly, and more about making sure you catch every single screwup. (There's a slight difference, lol ;) )

I fondly remember when that happened. Not fond that the crash happened, but that the news media got caught violating it supposed confirmation from multiple sources.

The look on her face was priceless, you could see the gears turning when she got to that name.

I never saw a report with her face, only the one where that list of names filled the screen as she read them out.

Went back to news so I can yell at the monitor. Websites only... so I can skip past uninteresting stories.

Still... an obvious prank... high school level - but still a winner!
