The average consumer is a teenager so the market is 80 percent brain washing and 20 percent trend information brought from facebook and turned into shite by hipster wanna be musicians in skinny jeans and low morals. Lol

I agree. I'm have electronic preferences, personally, but even then that takes talent. Most modern musicians that make millions and billions of hits just don't have that, however; like many say here, they use autotune and barely put any thought into their lyrics. In fact, it usually takes just repeating the same lyrics 2-3 times, or just some recycled trap beat, to supposedly make it the BEST THING EVRRR.
I think it's a shame that that's what get's into the normiculture these days. I recently checked out the song "Gucci Gang" by Lil Pump to see what all the fuss was about, and it was just... boring; what did I expect? Pump sounded tired throughout most of the song, and it was just weird and over-the-top; like all of the f**king music videos most millennials and post-millennials find themselves saying they like.
I am a musician myself, and I have a lot to say about this. No, I'm not a popular musician, but I'm glad not to be popular either. Being popular basically means having to look attractive (whatever that means) like... Miley Cyrus... Taylor Swift... Ed Sheeran; it's like musician-exclusive names don't exist anymore, not to mention.

Indeed. Even as a K-Pop lover I can attest to this lol. Most groups have like 1-3 actually talented and SKILLED singers, while a bunch of other girls (or even guys in guy groups) fill up the rest of the group to look pretty and dance all sexy while lip syncing their minimal parts that they can barely sing for real live lol

After having kids I've watched how the Disney and Nick machines use their child actors in the music industry to drive sales. Look at how many of the people you hear on the radio today started out that way: Selena Gomez, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato. It's all about the total package now, not just the music. Whatever $ells more....

paying teachers more money, doesn't necessarily mean better education. We see that paying rappers more money doesn't make better music XD.
