The answer to BOTH issues is to enforce the laws we already have. When genuine attempts are being made to enforce those (neither can be enforced 100%), then we can talk about changing laws. But why should we make new laws when current ones are being ignored.

Actually, not just a few illegal aliens kill people, A LOT DO. Hundreds of gangs, thousands of druggies and criminals, and other such people sneak over the border every year. And the ones that don't do stuff like that just steal peoples identities and bring down America's economy.

About 99% of them bring down our economy, and the ones that don't are cutting in front of people that actually want to come in legally, making the hard working ones that want to come legally wait up to twenty years to come in. So yes, 100% of them are doing something bad one way or the other.

A very tiny, extremely slim minority of society is insane, all the warning signs there and the government that is supposed to be there to protect us fails at every level. But the killer used guns, so all guns are the problem.



Meanwhile, we have muslims for instance running over people with trucks and going on other killing sprees. Still a small percentage sure, but not only do people do the exact opposite of "BAN ALL MUSLIMS", there is a significant amount of polled muslims that are neutral or supportive of such attacks. So wtf.

This isn't food for thought this is a giant leap. Both are issues, we can't just pick and choose what issues we solve in this country. The only reasons why guns are top priority is because they have a higher death count, and I'm sure you know this but conveniently left it out.

Yeah and at what point was it relevant to the discussion? Abortion is not an issue, for all you know all the parties involved consent to the ordeal, and nobody sentient dies. It is in no way comparable to gun violence and illegal immigration. A complete non-sequitur.

Just because you have a mind doesn't mean you are sentient, science is certain that fetuses can't feel stimuli. A fetus is just like a corpse, it may have a brain, but it isn't sentient.

Not to kill a person, if you look at a old Ar-15 advertisment it says it's for sport, and I know a ton of people who either have one for hunting or just to look cool to their friends. Most people for self defense have either a shot gun or pistol. And a illigal really doesn't have any rights, at least not in the country they snuck into being they are here ILLEGALLY they shouldn't be treated like an honored guest, they should be sent back where they came from

you don't really need one for hunting. plenty of other rifles that work just as well. I'm sure they would sell it as a sports weapon as it has no other reliable purpose, and they still want to sell them. Like the word Illegal removes the rights they should have as individuals. If Illegal meant they have no rights, why don't we just lock them all up and shove them into gas chambers? That will solve the problem of having to worry about them coming back over! SO sensible.

That is because it's no longer "a few guns" or "a few people". Shooting happen 3 times in a given week nationwide, but they are becoming so common, they don't make the news anymore. Plus, Mexicans alone, are not lethal, guns are.

Ok you're right, the average wasn't 3 a week. I re-checked my source, in a study over a period of 238 days, 247 shootings occurred, which goes into a weekly average of 7.26 shootings a week.

And I never said that every time a shot is fired, someone dies, you just use all the shootings as a pathetic excuse to keep your gun(s) for "protection".
