Once it was so bad I couldnt comment for two hours. What's wierd is it wasn't a liberal user. I'm not even sure what I did that pissed them off.

My guess is that they go through your profile and downvote anything they can. Perhaps they also flag some things? I dunno, but it was two users who said they were going to downvote me into oblivion (yes, they told me) and whenever I'd try to comment, I'd get the "you're commenting a lot, wait 118 minutes" warning (yes minutes, not seconds). Also, when I could comment (about once every two hours) I couldn't meme comment.
I was really upset because that was such a long span, I felt like it prevented me from participating on this site, and I was pissed that two @#$#@$ were given that much power to ruin it. I'm still angry about it.

Seriously though, it sucks that people are able to do that. That should be a tool to make it harder for trolls to comment - not something trolls can use against regular users.

i'm a liberal and i wouldn't care if my friend had conservative political views, if they wouldn't want to be your friend because of your political views then they're not a real friend. I wouldn't worry about sharing your opinions, it's your American right, and if your liberal friends disagree with your opinion, that's their American right. Neither of us should judge our opinions, but that doesn't mean we all have to agree. Both sides judge each other, and I'm not taking sides. I personally am disappointed with who won the election, but I'm not going to protest on it because Trump WON the election. REAL friends won't care!
