Sometimes...not so important for him to upvote mine...I have enough points. But he should be upvoting the others...I try to upvote all comments that I reply to unless the person is being an obvious dick. And I usually upvote all direct comments to my memes. He's a newer user so I was just trying to help him out.

You can only comment animated gifs as 'Click to Show' as far as I know. The way to do it by copying and pasting the Embed Codes from the gif into a comment.

If I'm taking the time to reply, i upvote. Just common courtesy as you said. There are a few exceptions but only a few...

i even upvote people who are arguing with me on political stuff. i like to imagine it irritates them :-p :-D
