Sarcastically saying that some people think its racist to want to move to a country where they speak the same language as you, which, it isn't.

My point is that if it is racist to want to keep "different" (I.e. don't speak English), how is it not racist to choose one place over another, on the basis that it's people are "not different" (I.e. do speak English)?

People don't want to learn an entire language just so it doesn't offend a single person, it seems easier just to go somewhere where you know you can survive without struggling with the native people.

Yes because they are coming here, they need to change, not us.

I think they do. The US may not have an official language, but the majority of Americans speak English (it is, after all, an anglosphere (if you don't know what that is, look it up)) and you won't get very far if you don't speak English.

Canada is a bit too close to the United States for my taste, both geographically and politically. Any nuclear war involving the United States will also involve Canada. In short, they'll be subject to incineration without representation.

If I were to move anywhere, (which I'm not) I would move to Australia. It's farther away, and not part of NATO or NORAD. The Australians also have the spine to stand up to American ridiculousness.

I think they do but why would they when the US spends millions printing everything out in many other languages. Also, hospitals have this phone thing that if a patient can't speak English we can dial up any language known on this planet. And we pay for it--not the patient.

Ok this is BS! People come from Mexico for the SAME REASON people don't want to move there. Drug dealers, currupt govt, poverty etc. But the US makes it a PAIN to come in even tho the US was founded on stealing land anyway! I after SOME people from Mexico take too much advantage of thesystem here BUT NOT ALL. PEOPLE COME ILLEGALLY SOMETIMES TO SAVE THEIR OWN LIVES! Example of somebody good coming over here ILLEGALLY was the case of whether to deport somebody born here but whose parents were illegal that made it into UT. Univ of Texas!!! That's NOT an easy school! I LIVE in TEXAS! I WOULD KNOW! That's a DREAM school for many. Literally a DREAM. So for talk who think Mexicans are only bad, especially illegal ones, just remember some are pretty damn bright!

The reason people are fleeing Mexico is the exact same reason we don't want unfettered illegal immigration. Granted, a wall won't fix that. We should find ways to make it easier to legally immigrate, but wanting this countries immigration laws enforced isn't racist. Ad for "we stole the land" are you suggesting we DNA test everyone, send them back where they "belong" and attempt to reverse history?
