I don't really understand the whole restroom situation. I think it might be best to get rid of men's/women's restrooms altogether and replace them with those 'single stall' rooms.

Why not just have a unisex bathroom,They take up less space than two or three bathrooms for genders and those that are gender queer.

What do you mean by unisex bathrooms? Would they have multiple stalls in them or will they only have one toilet in one room?

(this is the best pic I could find) Okay, when you walk into a unisex bathroom you will see a row of sinks and behind the sinks,there is a hallway with Little ROOMS not stalls with a toilet,urinal, and a sink. But if we started building unisex bathrooms they would completely solve this whole bathrooms and gendders argument.

Just create a third restroom and label it "Everyone Else". So they are not sure if they are a man or a woman, that is where they can go.

Honestly what doesn't make since is that there is so little time spent in a public restroom, I am not sure why they have to fight the issue. If you was born with a dick and look like a man, go into the men's restroom. If not, go into the women's restroom. How hard is that?

The problem is not trans people. Its everybody else. I actually attended a trans panal today that was AWSOME. If somebody that feels like they are a boy but has girl parts, theyd be stared at at and possibly assaulted in the boys restroom. If society wasnt so shitty about the social construct known as gender, it wouldnt be an issue. I personally like the idea of unisex bathrooms as theyd take up less space anyway. Gender and gender roles are in fact bullshit. Who says a guy cant do "girly" things and vice versa? The whole fear ia from bullying and thats the bullys and societys fault for causing that. I will post info about that panal when possible as it went very well and I was even teary eyed at some points.

A boy doing a girly thing is different than saying they feel more like a girl than a boy and should therefore be allowed to go into the girl's restroom.

Yah I kinda agree the restroom thing shouldn't be a controversy like it is and I really would love unisex bathrooms.

The unisex bathroom idea would solve the problem. I like that idea.

You might want to ask women if they feel uncomfortable with men walking into their restroom. I'm sure you will get a large percentage saying "yes". Most men probably wouldn't care.

I wouldn't care unless she was in the only stall, I was next and it broke when she stood up.

Just so you know, not all men would be comfortable having any woman walking into the men's restroom to use it. Why is it so much of a problem for a woman to use the women's restroom and a man to use the men;s restroom, regardless of what they think they are? Even if they were to go into a public restroom every single day for 10 minutes, if they lived to be 80 years old that would only be 200 days they would have spent in there their entire life. Considering the majority of the people spend less time than that and not even every day, that number should be considered high. Why worry about something that won't take up half a year from your life?

I did say "most men". I could care less but I would rather not have genetic men in the women's bathroom. I have two daughters, they are grown but there are too many perverts in the world and this would be like a candy store environment unless all toilets and urinals had stalls with doors but even then they would put a mirror or their phone under the wall.

And I don't think that even most men would be comfortable with it.

Personally, I can't think of anyone I know that would care unless there were children but nudist colonies have no problem with it even around children. It's all just a mind set. The only men I can see having a problem with it are the religious but there may a few that are easily offended. With the way it is now, integrating the bathrooms seems like a big deal but after a generation or two it would even be a thought.

My lazy ass neighbors let their dogs crap in my yard and don't pick it up all the time. Then I have to pick it up. Unless transgendered are taking a crap on the bathroom floor, I really don't see the connection.

If my daughter is in the restroom and a man or group of men walked up and entered it, I would be affected towards alarm and unhappiness. It would be stressful and therefore harmful.
