The International Panel on Climate Change quietly admitted Climate Change is drastically "overstated."

Some good news on solar power on the local level - my town council rejected a solar farm on the basis it would have a massive negative impact on people's property values. Personally I would have preferred if it was that solar is oh so useless during our Winters or how much forest would have to be destroyed to build the panels but I'll take the win as is.

That is good news. We had a massive solar "farm" built over 400 acres of farm land. You can see it from 15 miles away, 30 if you are on a nearby mountain and it is ugly. Nothing grows underneath the panels anymore, they are constantly having to spray weeds that do come up. Wildlife no longer inhabits the area. And, the production is nothing like they promised. And get this, local Rural Electric Association paid for it, but all of the electricity is allocated to California, 800 miles away. With line losses, "friction of electricity over cable") of 40% it is sheer idiocy.
Before the usual suspects start throwing their monkey feces, I live off the grid. It was going to cost me twice as much to tie into the grid as a stand alone solar system when we built, so economics made sense. It isn't a set it and forget it thing. Sometimes the computer charge distribution center freezes and requires a reset, just like most computers. Heavy snowfall has to be removed or there is no charging, and extended overcast conditions fail to produce enough for our modest consumption after about 2 days, so we have to run a propane generator- only exhaust is water vapor and CO2- libtards once trumpeted that cleaner than gasoline power, now water vapor and CO2 are deadly pollutants. Can't win. And, our system, like all solar, will incrementally lose efficiency over time and have to be replaced. The components for now are unrecyclable and classified as hazardous waste- lithium ion batteries, etc.

We must have a crisis to take more power, even if we have to create one.

I treat the U.N. and demonrats the same way, whatever they say gets ignored, if possible, if not I reverse it to find the truth. Nothing either of them has to say will ever be considered, respected or if they demand it, acted upon.

Sigh, things like that coming out always cause the U.N. to invent another worldwide threat, that only they can save us from. Well, if we pay them to save us.
