23-year-old Kamel Hawkins was arrested for attempted murder and assault. Murder and assault is illegal round here. This wasn't just some turnstile jumpers pulling a prank like you're making it out to seem. Someone was almost killed. A person was almost killed. He's in critical condition now.

Looking at it, he might have avoided getting hit on most of his body if he landed between the tracks (or on the edge?). But if it missed his legs completely, then that was near miraculous.

Hopefully it didn't get his limbs nor hit his head or anything like that.

This is why I prefer waiting around the end of the platform. The cars are less crowded too during busy hours, so more seating.
