There was a similar "FU" response from the Biden-Harris administration and FEMA during and after the Maui fire disaster.

Perhaps the bill, introduced and co sponsored by Republicans and endorsed by Democrats, faced dissent from "nay" saying house and senate Republicans because they believed it insufficiently funded disaster relief estimates that American citizens could potentially suffer.
