I am aware about the horrific things that have happened to past LGBTQ folk, and I am pissed off at the old laws. We do not need a whole month, though. We don't want all this attention to be drawn to us (for most of us), since it also brings in negative attention.

Now, signaling that I'm not actually LGBTQ+ is a very odd accusation, since I have been Transgender for the past 6 months, and have been Bi for 1 month (Still in a relationship though). I am not a hetero pretending or whatever, I am not trying to delegitimize our "base". I am trying to defend MY PERSONAL opinion on pride month. I know some LGBTQ members like pride month, but I don't. And yes, I HAVE faced discrimination before, leading to suicidal thoughts. I face discrimination all the time for my sexuality and gender identity. So basically, I'm not faking for clout, nor for trying to delegitimize the community. I'm not faking anything AT ALL.
