About that 'sense of humor' ....
It's my quote. I made it up. Years ago.
Again, for the nth time, Bx NY, NY, remember? Croydon Rd, Jamaica Estates, Queens? I've WALKED past Trump's house near that street when I was a kid, visiting family friends. I didn't even know till a decade or so ago. See, nobody cared back then. To put things in perspective, there are more monied people in that neighborhood than in your entire state, and most likely including the states that border it as well - combined, of course. So he's just one of thousands.
He was the first celebrity for absolutely nothing I ever heard of. Waaaaay before Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. We've seen his mug in the papers round these parts for no reason since the 1970s. Yous never heard of him till the Apprentice on tv a decade or so ago. He never ran for office here because he would have been laughed back into his hole - just like he was prior to mid-2016 everywhere else as well, even on FOX, even with the RNC.
In other words, hate is way too strong to have for someone that's been oozing all over here for half a century. Hate is too strong a feeling to have for anybody, because I would then have to feel it for a lot of people, and quite frankly, humans ain't worth investing that much in them.
YOU see AOC as an accomplished person, hence your 24/7/365ing her. And rightfully so, as she is. And she and whomever else you see as accomplished because, well, they are - even my hometown boy, albeit, thanks to daddy in his case. You've never known anyone like these northeastern big city elitists, and that's ok. It happens. Or rather, doesn't, for some folks, living in areas where successful people of note do not reside or even pass through en route to another destination.
As my ol' Grandpappy Modda used to say, "Que sera, c'est la vie"
