Back when the pandemic started people were saying that wearing a mask equivalent of putting up a chain link fence to keep mosquitoes out.

Based on the way he sprayed out the sides I'd say it's more like this

some of it came from the front too also that's how the masks are wore sothat just further proves his point

If my state starts back with a mask mandate, I am going to have one made out of the material that is used to make screen windows and wear that. But I doubt that will happen again, I live in a red state.

What state is that? Does it have lots of shrubbery? Lol ;)

Unfortunately I am not from Nebraska because then I could say I am from NE!!. That's about as close as I can get to NI!! I live in Utah. There are no Knights who say UT! :)

Freedom is the most valuable possession that we own. The plandemic was created so that the city, states and federal government could grab powers not granted to them under any circumstance. Because the left will never let a crisis, not even a manufactured crisis, go to waste.

They might say UT! They kept changing it.

Have you been to Joe's Kansas City BBQ. They used to be called Oklahoma Joe's when I lived there. The original one is in a gas station but don't let that persuade you against it. They're on the Kansas side in KC. They are the best in the KC metro.

Another restaurant that we liked is O'Neill's Restaurant in Leawood, Ks. There are only two things on their menu that are outstanding, their Irish Pot Roast and their Bread Pudding. Everything else on the menu is just average, it's not bad but it is not worth going out of your way for. But if you go for those two things it is amazing.

I worked on the the Kansas side of the metro and that is how I found those places.

Yep. Love that place we live like 45 mins away. If you aren’t there early you wait awhile. I always got the rocket pig. It’s pulled pork with jalapeño bacon, pepper Jack, BBQ sauce, and jalapeño rings

Oh man... Now I want to go back. I would just get their regular pulled pork with BBQ sauce. The rocket pit sounds awesome.

Rocket pig is amazing. Got some BBQ with my parents cause my sister wasn’t home tonight. At this brewery place in liberty had some great pulled pork.

If masks worked, states like California wouldn't be seeing a huge spike in cases right now. Their mask mandates are some of the most strict. And it isn't spreading fast due to a few people not wearing them. Ignorance is bliss with these people and they just do what they're told. When you believe the government is the solution, then you're nothing but a worthless shill.

Vape clouds aside the Biggest clue that " Mandatory Masks" was BS is that at No point were there special instructions for Proper disposal of used masks...
1 up, 3y
Very good point. If masks worked - a used non washable mask would need disposed of in a proper manner to keep contamination from occuring.

And you don't need a vape to do that either, just go out on a really cold day and exhale with one in the sun!
It's an easily reproducible science experiment that people can easily do

But please, explain to me that science is whatever Fauci says

Coronavirus drifts through the air in microscopic droplets – here’s the science of infectious aerosols

https://theconversation.com/coronavirus-drifts-through-the-air-in-microscopic-droplets-heres-the-science-of-infectious-aerosols-136663

Aerosols

These are respiratory droplets that are less than 100 micrometers in diameter that can remain suspended in the air for hours

Droplets

These are particles that are larger than 300 micrometers and, due to air currents, fall to the ground in seconds

So you're supporting the subject of my meme or opposing it? Your evidence supports it.
0 ups, 3y
Viruses do not travel by themselves in the air, but within microscopic saliva particles that cannot be seen, a good percentage of these particles can be blocked by masks, although it must be reiterated that air renewal or air filtering , it is more important than wearing masks. Both at the same time, and well-fitting masks offer excellent protection.

MISSLEADING
Not fake, but one, covid doesn't have wings, it floats on small water droplets which are considerably larger that the virus itself, additionally, there is just WAY more vape particles that water droplets so its an unfair test.

However, it is true that with the delta variant you may need to wear an N-95 mask more often in public spaces
0 ups, 3y,

I dont see anything misleading. And what do you think vape is? Water droplets...close to them anyway. Same size in general, and note that most comes from the unsealed edges around the mask, mostly unhindered. The argument stands.
[deleted]

so wear an n-95

Yes, nor does it provide a good barrier for particulates to be contained through the media. Unless you wear an N95 mask or actual full filtration breathing apparatus. And if you do that, it must be fully fitted to your face to provide full protection, something that the government and CDC/WHO has not recommended for anyone. Medical personnel that are required to actually filter their breathing have a scented spray applied after masks are fitted to ensure nothing can be smelled, to ensure full filtration. The public is not protected by mask wearing given the current standards.

Masks do however catch the mucus and phlegm when sneezing or coughing. Considering the COVID virus adheres to mucus and phlegm - it keeps that part from flying onto other people when coughing or sneezing.

That's the only protection that is provided.

They've proved covid also travels on dry particles, and from the moisture in the eyes and particles from the ears and even sweat pores. Masks don't do jack.

They didn't. If you read the actual document from the FDA it's provisionally approved in 2026 when all the studies finish.

Yes, but if one is already sick enough to be spitting out mucus and phlegm, they should be quarantined and not in public. My meme is really intended to help people who think masks should always be worn, some even wear them driving in the car by themselves, to actually think about what the purpose of a mask is. Your reasoning works, but many just do it because they are told and don't understand why, nor do they care.

I remember a few months ago - I woke up, felt fine - went about my day. Around 1:30 - I randomly started sneezing. At which point - I grabbed my mask & tossed it on just in case (I'm fully vaxxed). Up until that point - I wasn't wearing it.

I'm pretty much maskless, unless I have sniffles or a cough or woke up with a fever. Then I'm in and out as fast as possible where I go.

Masks do provide one small protection and it's to protect others from your own spits and mucus. Anyone that thinks otherwise is not understanding how the masks work. Nor do they understand how the virus works.

To be fair - the CDC doesn't seem to know how it works either 🤣😆
2 ups, 3y
Not do they understand how underwear, or toilet paper, or tissues work.

You don't seem to understand that you can still spread it from the wetness of your eyes, your ears and your sweat pores. Most masks are worthless.

THEY (those wearing masks) didn’t “spread” it. They received it. Maybe through their eyes. But their eyes didn’t spread it outward. Lol

The guy did a full video on several types of masks. Some do better than others, I thought it would be educational for most people to see the standard "surgical mask" in this image since it's the most common one worn. Cloth masks are terrible, and ones with "ports" in them are even worse since they filter inhales but completely release exhales. I can send you the link if you're interested. Masks are to keep the infected from spreading the disease no? So filtration of inhales is moot or at best marginal. Filtration of exhales is paramount. Even the best masks prevent full oxygen flow and are not recommended for extended use unless they are equipped with a dedicated oxygen supply like the full suits that ground zero pathogen workers would wear.
