I agree that killing is "bad" but there are "consequences" for moronic behavior. Conservatives believe in responsibility unlike the Yale woman who lost her job recently for her ridiculous comments and is blaming "Trump", not herself. In the case of choosing to be in the street and getting hurt or killed, I do not waste any sympathy for them or the Yale woman.

Back in the day homos were shunned, the Catholic church sheltered them and took them in. Then all of a sudden, children are being molested everywhere. To be fair, the church making their priests have to be celibate didn't help but still.

Not that this was exclusive to them. Take the world's biggest and most organized religious organization with the bookkeeping to show for it, and voila, you get high numbers and thorough documentation.
Take smaller sects without the centralized structure nor a body to answer to and make records, and stuff slips under the radar.

Celibacy is hardly a factor, as there is plenty of temptation and oppurtunity from willing adults. Remember the Sopranos with Carmela and that young priest going to weekly lunch parties at the homes of a clique of what amounted to groupies? I've seen those IRL. Not just the Catholic Church either, as pastors of all sorts got a ton lined up looking to 'get closer to God' in the most intimate way. And we ain't talking just women eager for that 'special blessing'
