While it's best to steer clear of op/ed works due to their frequently concoctive, foil-hat nature, Mr. Hartmann has done an excellent job of avoiding wild, assumptive; leaps based on wispy evidence -choosing instead to focus on assembling a detailed, cross-referenced, chain-of-events fact sheet supporting the possibility, likelihood that Donald J. Trump was/is, in fact, intent on tearing down American democracy to install himself as a Putin-esque, oligarchal POTUS-for-life. I'll warn you now: it's not a quick snack sort of article; in fact, should you choose to follow out the cross-links, it may well take several hours to read in its entirity. And, as it's an opinion piece, take it with the usual grain of salt.
