[1 of 2] Bible prophecy talks about the age of apostasy that will come in the last days of the Church Age that we are living through right now. Knowing this, I used to think our problem stemmed mostly from pastors deleting the third of Scripture that covers Bible prophecy. But our in-depth study of Wicca witchcraft has helped me to understand that the issue is way beyond that! Of the two thirds remaining after stripping God's Word of its reassuring prophecy, preachers today are also shying away from biblical subjects like witchcraft, other occult practices, hell, sin, wrath, and spiritual warfare. The excuse seems to be that those areas, which involve real entities like the devil and demons, might scare people. That basically leaves pastors with Scripture’s table of weights and measures, leading them to some supposed sign from God that Christians are destined to be financially-successful. Do you see how pastors can be led to whip out dumb sermons like that because it's all they have left? Folks, our extensive study of the occult has opened my eyes to the fact that today’s situation in the Church is worse than what I ever thought. [2 of 2] Church pastors today are throwing out most all of the Bible because subjects like prophecy might confuse people and occult practices may scare them. And then when a particular group does teach the whole Bible, like us here at Sunrise Bible Church and Get A Life Media, we are denigrated as the problem pastor and Church. We're one of "those" Churches—those wackos. They say people don't want to hear rebuke and correction. But those are all messages from our Creator to help us know how to live with the fruits of the Spirit! Today’s Church is not getting it, beginning with those attending services who aren’t necessarily Christian so they’re happy to help pick a fluff-preaching pastor. Maybe because many in the Church today are not Christian, they don't hunger for God's Word anyway. Contrary to that mindset, when I got saved, I couldn't wait to get dive into the Bible. I was excited to find one and instantly started reading it. The Spirit of God drives a Christian to God's Word. If you want to have nothing to do with Scripture, that's a bad sign! But as pastors, we need to preach all of God’s Word no matter what's going on in the Church, even here in these days of apostasy. There is a great and growing need to reach people out there who are getting involved in this occult baloney, many through Catholicized versions of witchcraft practices. Others just flat-out rebel against God (like Satan did), also going the way of Wicca witchcraft. And it's not working out well for them so we must let them know there is relief from their
