SALVATION IS THROUGH CHRIST, OUR CREATOR. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE LONE DESERT-ISLAND PERSON WHO HAS NEVER HEARD OF JESUS? The answer comes from Paul in the Bible’s New Testament where he mentions the "light of creation," which is the obvious fact that everything around us was created, including the entire earth & universe. Who created it all? It was our Creator, God. It's as plain to see as the fact that our car or tv were created. Also, our world has the "light of conscience." Everyone inherently knows there is a right and a wrong. It is universal moral law. Where did that come from? It has to be from our Creator, who made the universal moral law. And we've all broken His laws. So we need His help, a Savior, which is Christ. | image tagged in morality, god, jesus, law, bible, salvation | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHY DO CERTAIN FAITHS CURSE THEIR FOLLOWERS BY MAKING THEM KEEP THE OLD TESTAMENT LAWS? What was the purpose of the 600 laws? The problem is NOT the Law. As Paul says in Romans, the Law is holy and righteous. The Law came from God so it is just. The reason Paul tells us the Law can become a curse, is because we humans cannot keep it, we need to acknowledge that, & we certainly don’t try keeping the Law to get ourselves to heaven. So why did God even put the Law out there? Paul says this in Galatians 3:23-24: “Before this faith came, we were held in custody under the Law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the Law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”; Our inability to keep the Law, even just the Ten Commandments, should drive us to the common sense conclusion that we need help from God, a savior, because we cannot get to heaven on our own. The Law drives us to Christ. We're not to try getting ourselves justified by attempting to live like Christ did, a perfect sinless life, because then we wouldn't need Christ. We are to be justified by our faith in Him and His work; not by any failed attempt to get ourselves justified under the Law. Do you see how that would be a curse for us? He cannot do it so we rely on Jesus. We have faith in Him. Because of that, we have peace knowing we're saved & nothing can change that so we're excited & compelled to share that joy with others. Christ's love compels us. We're glad He did it all, we want to serve Him, and we want to be like Him. Who wouldn’t, after what Jesus did for us? | image tagged in old testament, judaism, law, christian, bible, jehovah's witness | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
