A public service announcement to all the anti-maskers out there. | To all the anti-masker snowflake types out there that don't want to put on a mask in a place of business:; There is a virus out there called COVID-19. It is very contagious. You need to wear a mask. I know you don't care if anyone else gets it, but the rest of us do. When you go into a place of business and they tell you that you are required to wear a mask, bear in mind this rule applies to everyone, no exceptions. Asking to see the manager or asking to speak to corporate, or whatever Karen bullshit you're gonna try to pull, will not have the desired outcome you're seeking. LET'S GO OVER SOME TYPICAL EXCUSES SHALL WE? "But it's not a law!" In certain areas it is an enforced mandate, and if a business has it as a requirement, your two options are a) put on a mask or b) leave. There are no other options. "But I have a medical condition!" No, you don't. If you're fit enough to make a huge case out of not wearing a mask, you're fit enough to breathe through a mask. "But it violates my personal freedom!"/"But it violates the Civil Rights Act!"/"You're discriminating!" No, the rule applies equally to everyone, even to special little snowflakes like yourself. NOW, TO EXPLAIN HOW THINGS ARE GOING DOWN:; When an employee tells you to put on a mask, the appropriate course of action is, can you guess? That's right, put on a mask! If you think you're making some kind of stand or political statement by not wearing a mask and then refusing to leave, let me explain. The only statement you're making to everyone around is that you're an idiot. If someone records it and puts it online, you'll be advertising your idiocy to the entire online community. Businesses have the right to refuse service. If you are asked to leave and you decide to continue pressing the issue, eventually the authorites will be contacted. You will be hauled away in handcuffs if necessary and risk being charged with trespassing, causing a disturbance, or some other offense. You will not get any sympathy for your stupidity. NOW ASK YOURSELF: IS IT REALLY WORTH ALL THAT AGGRAVATION?
