WHAT IS THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS? Unfortunately, if Christmas falls on a Sunday, the trend is that America makes it the least-attended service and some Churches will actually cancel services. I think it is because, even people in the Church, have forgotten The True Meaning of Christmas. You see, Christmas is not merely about gathering around with family, eating copious amounts of food, and opening gifts. And it’s certainly not about a bloated guy named Santa Claus who flies around in a sleigh. It is for celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ into this world so that you and I can have a beautiful, loving, intimate, and personal relationship with the Creator of the Universe. Our study, The True Meaning of Christmas, reveals how Jesus went to great lengths to make sure we didn’t miss this point, which is seen when the Bible compares our relationship to Christ with the seven phases of a Jewish marriage ceremony. The True Meaning of Christmas not only unveils this amazing parallel, it also opens our eyes to a two-fold message from Jesus that has been tucked away all along in the Scriptures.
