![WHAT IS A SHOTGUN WEDDING? What are we taught by our society today about pre-marital relations? Many ignore what goes on with our young men sleeping around. Some even give young men bad advice, saying they need not worry about the consequences; thereby creating a society full of single moms. They lead men to believe they don't need to be responsible for their behavior. Completely contrary to that disastrous message, God tells us we must take responsibility for our behavior in a society: "If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife.”; That also used to be our society’s way. We had a term called, "shotgun wedding.” Dad would confront the young man with something like, "You did what with my daughter?!" Then if the man slept with his daughter, the shotgun would come out, followed by the preacher showing up to marry the two young people. But today, society thinks no one but the government (taxpayers) is responsible for bringing that child into the world. And you wonder why our society is falling apart. God continues: "If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must still pay the bride-price for virgin[s]." So,

We warn people to get into the ark of Jesus because they face death at any moment, which will then make it too late for them. And there's also an event coming at any moment that will be nothing like they've ever seen--the Rapture, which won't be Jesus arriving on the earth. Instead, that will be when Christians go up to the sky to meet Jesus. And what do people say to that today?
