Each of them are harming their followers to the point of putting those poor people under a curse. I did not say that. It is exactly what we find in Scripture. We flawed humans can't even keep the first commandment: How many of us have spent every day of our lives perfectly loving
the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, and strength? Don't say you have, or you'll also be guilty of violating the ninth commandment against lying—of course you already have anyway—I'm just trying to help. But my point is that we can't even make it past one requirement in an attempt to achieve our own salvation without Jesus. So, it ain't gonna happen! We need Christ. Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormonism, and many, many other false-faith organizations are just works-based cults—because cults are always works based. These groups begin their teachings by getting their source of authority (not the Bible) wrong and then all their other doctrine tumbles downhill from there. They may even profess to rely supremely on the Bible, but when pressed and in practice, they do not!
