So, it's no surprise that someone who gets possessed by a demon would have that foul spirit try to kill its host. As Christians we have the Holy Spirit in us and He will not share space with demons, so they cannot possess us. But when I was involved with the occult before getting saved, I was not just demonically oppressed, but most likely multiply-possessed. This was my own doing. I had asked these entities to come inside me in hopes
of receiving power, not understanding how dark it would get. So, they obliged, setting up shop and commencing to drive me insane, as their way of killing me. The goal of Satan and his demons is to trick each of us into staying away from Jesus—the only way to heaven—as long as needed for us to take our last breath and end up in hell. And by the way, the types of distractions they throw at us can include getting us involved in the occult. Anything you do is fine with demons, just as long as you don't go down that Jesus route; as long as you don't turn to Jesus on the cross, trusting in His work alone and asking Him to forgive your sins. Like all little girls, she had been reading and watching stories involving knights, princesses, kingdoms, realms, quests, enchanted forests, and all other aspects of mythical, chivalrous lands. that most fairytale-consuming young girls come to realize:; Her parents do not have royal blood, so she is disqualified from nobility. But then, one day, God had to finally smack my head with a thought that should have come to me sooner: Wait a second, that fairytale is the true story of Scripture. We are nobles! At the moment we trust in Jesus’ sacrifice of Himself on the cross, we Christians become born-again and are instantly princes and princesses! As a family of Christians, that means Rebecca’s mother and I have royal blood, and our daughter also received her princess title at the moment she accepted Jesus—the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Christ comes from the most lofty, powerful, borderless kingdom above all kingdoms. In fact, He created and owns everything! Even though God could have scrapped His human project, having no need of us rebellious children who often grieve Him, God
decided to send His only Son—the Prince who volunteered—to

But with Jesus, you truly are Princess Rebecca!”; I think these nobility stories are constantly inspired into so much of mankind because we inwardly know this earthly life goes by in flash, and we immortals have an eternity coming—that is meant to be spent in God’s kingdom. Whether we acknowledge His sovereignty or not, He has put it on our hearts. However, this regal future can be squandered by those too self-absorbed to want a relationship with their Creator—the same issue Satan had that led to the devil’s creation of sin, the first sins. But our glorious, princely position is real and every Christian has it—right now! The next stop is Jesus coming to get us, escorting His people to His heavenly kingdom where we will spend years at a massive victory celebration with God, after which we fellow princes and princesses
will ride back to earth with Jesus, where we will rule and reign with
Him in His Millennial Kingdom. After those thousand years spent
watching over the earth with God, He will create new heavens
and a new earth—a new, sinless creation! So, that’s who we
