HOW SHOULD WE EXPLAIN THE TRINITY? Some secularists and other non-Christians believe the Christian Trinity actually represents three Gods, which it does NOT. All three are the same essence of God, which is revealed in three ways: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So, the math is not 1 + 1 + 1 = 3; instead, it is 1 x 1 x 1 = 1. Said another way, it is like the different states of water. When left alone, water is a liquid; frozen, it becomes a solid; and heated, it turns into a vapor. Which of those is not water?
