PRINCESS REBECCA [Part 2] Jesus unexpectedly came to rescue us, and right now this universe-owning Prince is building palaces, eagerly waiting for the day when His Father tells Him to come back to the air above our world, catch all us royal Christians up to meet Him there, and whisk us away to be in heaven with Him. Christ will be coming for every Christian—all His princely people. And our titles are not just for gaining entrance into heaven’s royal balls and buffets; we are set to rule and reign with Jesus on earth and in the heavens, living lovingly, peacefully, and joyfully ever after, forever, and ever, and ever. When I began to explain all this to Rebecca, her eyes light up like I had not seen before—she got it! I said something like: "Rebecca, that is what’s so cool about being a Christian. The world only
offers make-believe stories of unattainable lives in non-existent
lands. But with Jesus, you truly are Princess Rebecca!”; I think these nobility stories are constantly inspired into so much of mankind because we inwardly know this earthly life goes by in flash, and we immortals have an eternity coming—that is meant to be spent in God’s kingdom. Whether we acknowledge His sovereignty or not, He has put it on our hearts. However, this regal future can be squandered by those too self-absorbed to want a relationship with their Creator—the same issue Satan had that led to the devil’s creation of sin, the first sins. But our glorious, princely position is real and every Christian has it—right now! The next stop is Jesus coming to get us, escorting His people to His heavenly kingdom where we will spend years at a massive victory celebration with God, after which we fellow princes and princesses
will ride back to earth with Jesus, where we will rule and reign with
Him in His Millennial Kingdom. After those thousand years spent
watching over the earth with God, He will create new heavens
and a new earth—a new, sinless creation! So, that’s who we
are, Christian princes and princesses. It is our destiny! | image tagged in princess, prince, christian, jesus, god, kingdom | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS SPEAKING IN TONGUES EVIDENCE OF BEING BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT? That is a big "NO" because every individual receives the Holy Spirit of God at his or her moment of salvation through Jesus, which is the exact instant when the Holy Spirit indwells the body of every new Christian—and He stays there inside you for your entire remaining life! On top of that, Acts 2 and elsewhere in Scripture show us that speaking in
tongues does not always occur during biblical accounts of conversions;; there are plenty where no one speaks in tongues. Besides that, biblical speaking in tongues never involved talking gibberish, as some practice in the Church today. Every place it appears in the Bible, speaking in tongues is always in a known language and never gibberish like we see today. In fact, gibberish is a practice in cults and the pagan occult, so that practice is concerning, as are other
of today's tongues teachings that are not biblical. | image tagged in holy spirit, god, bible, jesus, disciple, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS THE GIFT OF PROPHECY FUNCTIONING IN THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH TODAY? If we still get new visions and prophecies from God these days, and they are applicable to us now, then why are we not using them to write a “newer” New Testament? Or do we have the canon of Scripture (the Bible) and that's all we need? The latter is true. Hebrews 1 tells us how God used to communicate with us in ancient times, and how He has chosen to communicate since then: "In the past, God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets." So, yes, God used
to speak to us through the prophets, many times and in various ways. That was God's methodology at that time in the distant past before Hebrews was written. How does He do so now? Hebrews 1 continues with that explanation: "In these last days He has spoken to us by His Son." So, the words given to us by Old Testament prophets were written down in the Old Testament and those spoken to us by His Son, Jesus—for these last days—were recorded in the New Testament. Guess what. That's it. We're done! This idea that God is going around to
different people giving them "new words" and “new ideas,“ would mean we
need to make additions to the New Testament. I hope no one would
even go down that route. In essence, these supposed “new words”
and “new visions” are just people getting outside the Bible. | image tagged in bible, prophecy, god, christian, future | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

HOW DO YOU FIND A GOOD BIBLICAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH? We get many calls from Christians who can't find a healthy Church, and I have to tell them it's all part of the last-days apostasy that Scripture warns about. So, avoiding convenience Christianity won't be easy; they may have to drive far or even move. But remember, there is no such thing as a perfect Church, and as the saying goes, if you find the perfect Church, don’t go there because you will mess it up. People also wonder how to know when they’re at the right Church. Well, I'm not saying you should accept everything a particular biblical Church teaches—some of it may bug you—but my general rule is this: chew the meat and, every once in a while, as you come across a bone, spit it out. It's not a big deal, at least you're getting some decent teaching, so be realistic. That said, if you find you've been spitting out more bones than you are being fed
real meat, that place may be a waste of your time. | image tagged in church, christian, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
