Man’s need for religiosity allows religions to control people, just as Hindu priests did in early Hinduism, growing in power by threatening non-compliant follower's with bad “Karma," meaning the person would continue being stuck in an endless loop of supposedly living one life after another. This is their
false teaching of reincarnation. And that same works-based dynamic

![HOW DOES HINDUISM COMPARE TO CHRISTIANITY? [3 of 4] Contrary to Hinduism’s works-based beliefs, Christians have the truth that there is only one Mediator between man and God, which is Jesus Christ. We can go straight Him without rituals because all the work has already been done FOR us by Christ. In Hebrews, John says Christians have the freedom to go with boldness directly to God, always finding Grace and help from Him in our time of need—isn't that mind blowing!?
To me those words feel like they are coming off the page. John is amazed at the thought that we Christians are actually CHILDREN of GOD. Can you believe that, after all the bad things we've done?! Romans 5 talks about how—as ungodly sinners before being saved—we hated God. And God certainly does not need us. But He still chose to die for us so that we can become what we are today: His actual Christian children.
And it's all free. There's no priest to go through and no techniques

[4 of 4] Then there's this important fact about the rock solid credibility of the Bible: Scripture was written over a period of 1500 years, through 40 generations, by 40 authors from every walk of life, including kings, peasants, philosophers, fisherman, poets, statesmen, etc. Before getting saved, I used to say the Bible was whipped up by men, but even on his best day, man could never put together something like the Bible. The writers didn't even know each other, so how can critics claim they conspired? The diverse authors of the Bible were from all over the spectrum: Moses, was a political leader; Peter, a Fisherman; Amos, a herdsman; Joshua, a military general; Nehemiah, a cup bearer; Daniel, a prime minister; Luke, a doctor;
Solomon, a King; Matthew, a tax collector; and Paul was a rabbi. Scripture was written in all kind of places: the wilderness, a dungeon, on a hillside, in a palace, from prison, while traveling, by John on the island of Patmos, and during military campaigns. That last one was during war, but some of the Bible was also written in times of peace. So there were many different moods of the authors, from the heights of joy to the depths of despair and sorrow. On top of all that, Scripture was written on three continents (Asia, Africa, and Europe) in three languages (Hebrew, Koine Greek, and a small part was Aramaic). With those aspects of the Bible in mind, here are the mind-blowers: Never once does the Bible contradict itself and it gives the same message throughout the Old and New Testament.

[3 of 4] Another reason we can trust the Bible is that there are close to 25,000 copies of the New Testament, some from the actual lifetime of the writers. It used to be that the oldest were amazingly within only 25 years of the date written, but now we even have Scripture from the same year the writing was originally created. Those copies are on scrolls that were stored in pottery at Qumran in the Judean Desert, part of Israel’s West Bank. And for some strange reason, that extraordinary historical find gets no attention from the secular media or airtime on the History Channel. Why would
they ignore Old and New Testament materials, especially when
some of the latter is from the same year the original was written. I’ve repeated that twice because it is absolutely phenomenal, and greatly contributes to the unquestionable reliability of the Bible. Now let’s contrast the Bible with similarly ancient writings from Aristotle and Plato—that no one mocks as unverifiable: The Bible has 25,000 copies, some from within the same year as the original, yet people feel free to question the authority and authenticity of Scripture, while the earliest copies of Plato and Aristotle are 1200 and 1400 years removed, respectively, from the originals. And there are only 7 and 49 copies of those works on the whole planet. No one scoffs at the authenticity of those books, while at the
same time they do with the Bible, which is exponentially more

Through God’s sovereign plan to preserve His Word for future generations, many of these Scriptures were stored in the desert, where extreme dryness greatly facilitated the preservation process. It's almost like God knew what He was doing, right? Also, the Jewish scribes had to produce these Scriptures with the exact same number of lines and
columns throughout every Bible codex (an ancient text in book form). In fact, the process involved a mathematical formula, a mandatory recipe for the ink, and nothing being written from memory—not even insignificant punctuation. The copiers had to sit in full dress and rewash their entire body each time they wrote the name of God. Even if a king or other royalty addressed a scribe doing this sacred work, the copier could not acknowledge that noble, an insubordinate act that was most

Where did that come from? If evolution were true, there would be no right and wrong, right? Of course, over time people like Hitler can have their conscience become seared; early on though, everyone knows it is inherently wrong to kill and
steal. Where did that come from? Since many have not seen God’s
Ten Commandments, where did they get those same morals? That's the moral argument of existence, which logically tells us that universal, moral laws must come from a universal, moral-law giver—God. There has to be a God! So, Creation and Conscience (2 C’s) testify that there is a God, and those two truths pull the rug from under skeptics; our island guy has no excuse. The third "C" is “Christ,” and this one is for you! We addressed the hypothetical straw-man argument of the desert-island guy, mountaintop person, or the one lost in isle 37 at Wal-Mart, but none of that matters if you are the one reading this. We are all sinners, Christ died to save us from hell, and all we must do is accept His free gift of salvation that He supplied for us by dying on

The skeptic's question is this: "Do you mean to tell me God is going to send that poor guy to hell?” You may know the answer if you’ve already watched our seminary-style study called "Discipleship 101 and 102," a disciple's education for every Christian, because the last directive from Jesus as He left earth was, "Go and make discipled learners of all nations.” Every saved soul is a blessing, but each accomplished Disciple is equipped to bring multitudes with him or her to heaven. Romans 1 and 2 answer our question about
the isolated, island person and it’s called the "three C's.”; I'll give the first C here and the other two in part two: God's “Creation" is apparent to every human, so lack of a Bible is no excuse. Romans 1 says we have "the light of creation." Just step outside to see a bird, a flea, or a bee; that is intelligent design—just as your car, watch, and phone are—which implies designer. The unfathomable complexity of the stars and planets testify that they did not happen by chance. All of creation drives us to know that there is a God. Romans 1 tells us that "God's invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the
creation of the world.” God can be seen and heard by observing
and hearing His creation. So, everyone is accountable—no
