DAY 75: SINCE GOD IS GOOD AND LOVING, WHY DID HE CREATE SATAN? The answer is that Satan started out as one of God’s magnificent, created angels that was actually put at the lofty level of an angelic cherub. But Scripture describes how he used the free will God gave him to became the first being responsible for the first sin. So, God did not create the one now known as Satan. Instead, our Lord fashioned a
beautiful cherub angel that made the decision to sin. Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 inform us about the fall of Satan, originally a beautiful and blameless creature in all his splendor, until wickedness
was found—in—him. Satan is the one responsible for evil. God created a wonderful angel, gave him free choice, and with it that angel selfishly chose to
become the wicked Satan, who was motivated by his desire
to more greatly exalt himself. The spread of his decision to
sin is what we must deal with still today. | image tagged in satan, bible, god, devil, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO YOU EXPERIENCE GOD'S WORSHIP?
If you ask the average Christian whether they want to glorify God, the response would overwhelming be “Yes, of course!” But the words from our mouths tell a much different story. The Bible explains that our everyday words are either glorifying God or the devil; the words we speak, positive or negative, reveal which one. Our study, “Experiencing God's Worship,” reveals the hidden dangers of a life spent constantly complaining. You will learn how complaining affects you, others, the gospel, and even God. No one makes us complain, though we would like to think they do. It’s simply our daily choice. Here’s the key:
Each day, make up your mind beforehand to glorify God with your mouth.
Otherwise, you will be glorifying the devil. The choice is yours. | image tagged in bible, god, jesus, christian, love, worship | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DAY 46: HOW IS CHRISTIANITY DIFFERENT FROM ALL OTHER FAITHS? [1 of 2] The rest have a list of demands from their leaders, decrees that prescribe the followers must DO WORKS to supposedly attain heaven. Contrary to that, the Bible tells us there is only one Mediator between man and God—that is Jesus Christ. And because Christ already DID THE WORK for us, we are able to go straight to Jesus, thus avoiding any of man’s prescribed rituals. And it costs us nothing
except to humble ourselves, admitting we need a savior. In Hebrews, John the apostle of Christ tells us that Christians have the freedom to go directly to God, and we can do so with boldness, always finding grace and help from Him in our time of need. Isn’t that mind-blowing? Just as John seemed to have his mind blown by that realization, even today it feels like John’s words are coming off the pages.
He was amazed at the thought that we are actually
CHILDREN of GOD! Can you believe that? Even
after all the bad things we’ve done?! | image tagged in religion, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
