The local news would not initially comment the good samaritan that stopped the incident was a concealed carry owner.

National news had to report it first, while Oregon kept it quiet for several hours in local media.

Makes you wonder....

As a liberal, I think she deserves punishment for killing her kids. She may have had a poor mental state, but homicide three times over is hardly excusable. A life sentence would be the most excruciating punishment in my opinion because she would have to live with all of her mental instability.

No, regardless of whether the cause was mental illness or not, or whether she was responsible for her actions she should be locked up for life because she is a danger to herself and others. While locked up she can get all the help she needs.
