Great meme but if you look at newspaper front pages or comics you notice that they put text blocks on the top and pics on the bottom. Over a century of reading both makes ot work best that way.
That's the single biggest element of proper layout. Memes are an art form and that makes you an artist.

Comics have dialog boxes at the top. You even saw them on episodes of Batman in 66. Memes are based on comics. Comics developed from Newspaper comic strips which used the same layout ideas.
I learned this in college when I took classes in art AND newspaper layout.
There's a right way and wrong way to do everything.
The people who make memes for The Babylon Bee never took classes like those and they've gotten it upside down out of basic lack of training.

Maybe This helps us both!! i was told to keep memes as minimal as possible to keep people's attention, doing a lot better on Facebook, over 1000 shares, no telling how many copy and pastes, I have had a few over half a million shares one over 1 million. Minimalistic, Facebook showed this stat if you are admin for a Group, we got banned, LOL so no more Stats on current
