I see you are reading chapter one. Out here we do use migrants for a lot of jobs, illegals we turn into ICE. The reasons are clear, the first group shows up yearly, some have been working the same area for generations, they earn money (legally) and return home. Many of the local farmers and ranchers throw huge parties, to welcome them back. They are well paid and are more like family than employees. What the so-called media will not tell you is they are quick to turn in illegals; the last thing they want are criminals attacking area families.
There are fools that think reporting illegals is a bad thing, but it is pointless to even consider their reasons. The truth is we have a legal system in place and we follow it. Their opinions are invalid and just plain wrong. If we knew the location of a bank robber we would turn them in too. Following the law is never the wrong answer.
One other thing you never or rarely hear about is the migrants know our system forward and backwards, they help each other with paperwork, permits etc and even help some become citizens. Only the left seems confused at the differences between the word's migrant and illegal.
