Pretending the small differences matter misses the real issue, both are proven failures and lead only to human misery. No sane person advocates for either.

Here's all what we need to know-

Not exactly. I think you mean the people in Capitalist societies, who complain the most about Capitalism, are the people who depend on all of the Socialist rationing that exists in Capitalist societies. Since they are dependent on Socialist rations, they hate the Capitalists. Because, in their minds, the more the Government takes from those who depend on Free Economics, they believe, the Government will give them more. It rarely ever does. If they just left the Socialist Government dependence and entered into the Free Economy, they’d quickly get more. But to do this requires abandoning their addiction to Socialist dependence.

We all know that it is nearly impossible to cure longstanding addictions of any kind. From smoking, to gambling, to drugs, to anorexia, to overeating. The same is true for addiction to Socialist rations. Like all addicts, the Socialist rations addicts are sick and miserable.

Socialism basically if dis nothing and had no cows and you worked to get ten cows the government would take five of your and give it to me. Communism is you work to buy a cow and the government takes it from you and may give you some milk. Capitalism is I have a cow and I can do what I want I could milk the cow and sell the milk I could slaughter the cow for meat and use money I make off that cow to buy more cows. Socialism and communism work in theory but humans sinful nature ruins them because nobody wants to work for free and everyone wants free stuff.

Communism works by taking your 10 cows and redistributing them away. Then when they’re gone, they just find 10 more cows to take. When they run out of cows, they invade other sovereigns to take all of their cows. When those cows are used up, they invade another sovereign and take all of their cows. Eventually, all of the people and nations whose cows were stolen kill all the communists, because everything was used up and if it continues—everyone would die.

Capitalism permits private enterprise to produce whatever is going to be bought. In whatever number the market will purchase. People are free to own businesses and cows. People can also collectively own cows and businesses. These enterprises will continuously produce cows and everything else needed—without stealing anyone’s cows. And without running out of cows. Over time, the means of production adjusts itself to produce what is needed, because that’s what can be sold. Overtime, this enriches the entire population and, by design, prevents shortages. And, no, everyone doesn’t get the same amount of ownership. But everyone always gets more in this system. And it doesn’t require theft to redistribute what was stolen. So it never ends in the same type of bloodbath.

Socialism is economic equality while communism is one leader in charge of the entire country. Vastly different government systems.

By definition Socialism is ANTI equality. Because it is a caste system by design. Where, by definition, a tiny minority of people get ownership and capitalism. While the masses do not. That tiny minority of Capitalists, within the system are what make it “Socialist.” They get the most. Everyone else gets only what is “distributed” to them. This makes three specific classes. The poor masses. The wealthy government. And the rich owners class.

It sounds like Capitalism. And is exactly what people who don’t understand what it is complain about in Capitalism. But because the ownership is at the leisure of the Government, it it drastically limited, because “distribution” systems have zero competition, which prevents innovation, and relies upon quotas. The law then only entitles the poor to minimal rights, because without freedom of ownership and production, rights are only what the Government lets the Owners distribute to you. You have NO right to work better to get yourself more through success. You are imprisoned in only having a right to receive your minimal rations.

There is a difference historians point out:

In communism, everyone will voluntarily contribute their skills and get only what they need.

In socialism, the state controls the means of production and the economy, all except for very minor property. People only get in return from the state what they "contributed"

Both ideologies are horrible. You can see that with North Korea.

Except in communism, the goverment must punish those that take too much and to do that they must control the means of production... oh wait... that's just socialism with more steps.

To create a system of Communism or Socialism. You first have to steal everything from everyone who has anything. Or you will have no means of production to seize. And nothing to redistribute. This always becomes a cycle of theft and distribution. Until there’s nothing left to steal. And nothing left to distribute. But by the laws of nature, before there’s nothing left—there will be a violent, bloody, deadly catastrophic war. To stop the theft. And to return to the production of something other than theft. Because theft is not production. It is just taking. And this is what everyone gets wrong. Because no Communist system has ever excelled at Production. They only excelled at stealing.
