If you ask me I think the Turkish and Egyptian authorities were protecting those gay people by denying them entry into those countries where people don't take kindly to gays and are likely to inflict homophobic violence on them. Why would gays want to vacation to oppressive homophobic Islamic theocratic shithole countries in the first place? Doesn't sound like a very fun place to go on vacation.

The cruise wasn't "pro-Palestine" it was just LGBTQ+ themed but yes many on the left are unfortunately to oblivious to realize that Islamic countries do oppress LGBTQ+ people. Many on thr left call themselves "queers for Palestine" because they oppose Israel but they don't realize that Palestinians are Islamic fundamentalists who are extremely homophobic and when you point this out, they accuse you of "supporting Israel's genocide of Palestinians". I oppose Israel's corrupt warmongering government AND Palestine's oppression of women and gay people and I don't believe Palestinians being Islamic theocratic fundamentalists is excuse for Israel to monger war.
