Justice is a process. Karmelo Anthony received justice. More importantly, Austin Metcalf did too.

He should have gotten more time because part of the sentence is the deterrence that goes along with it and when people see that they can get excused for any number of reasons for any number of things they've done and at best is 6 months there's no deterrent.

He's got his street cred he's got that going for him but he should have got life, he was too young to have recommended the death penalty because at that age it's difficult to think clearly

I believe in the death penalty for the most egregious cases but crimes of passion your emotions take over and you do things without even thinking about it but for the worst of the worst I believe in an incremental death penalty

Strap them in the chair and then use a high amperage rheostat to crank the power up to about 5% ask them if they noticed that then Crank it up to 10% and so on and that way people who have tortured and killed people or animals can get a little taste of their own medicine

He murdered somebody, took his life. For no reason.
In the very least he should give up any life he would have in freedom.

The sad thing is, if Anthony had politely asked if he could stay under their tent out of the rain, they probably would’ve let him. He didn’t even have the decency to ask and engage them in conversation. Instead, he remained confrontational and intentionally stabbed a young man in the heart. He has no one to blame but himself. Some people have no place in society. May God have mercy on his soul.

That was the other thing about it, other than killing him. That there was absolutely no reason for it. I have no idea how this guy got by in life if that's the way he responds to situations. Just makes absolutely no sense.
