Why can't republicans fix the homeless crisis? They have the majority of power in the House, Senate, and Executive.

One of the many reasons socialism does not work is because the human spirit is ignored. Man cannot live on bread alone.

No one can 'solve' the homeless crisis. It can only be managed. I think that is LA's worst misunderstanding.

The marxists in charge of LA's efforts to resolve the issue, aren't solving anything.
They don't want to either.
They are using drug addicts to get tax funding in perpetuity for their 'programs' and the tax breaks for non-profit orgs they get donations from to get elected. They ENABLE the lifestyle and virtue signal that they are good people for caring about people that can't care for themselves.

There is Homeless tourism too. The people that end up in jail for their actions in Texas, when they get out, end up moving themselves to an ENABLER State to poo on the streets, and gack out on iv drugs coursing through their veins. It only takes a few Presbyterian-esque Women groups in a larger community to chastise everyone for their lack of public empathy/ worn always on their sleeves, when they don't tolerate this crap amongst their fellow man, and expect better than enabling the Lifestyle longterm..

They created the Homeless Crisis when Jimmy Carter cut funding to the state mental health institutions. Carter went on TV and made this grandiose speech about "mainstreaming the mentally ill " "so they can live among us and become as us."
Without federal funds most Asylums closed.
When they closed the people they took care of wound up in the streets many unable to care for themselves.
And the Hoax Media dropped the term Mainstreaming like a hot n steamy bowel movement.
