Wrong. If you're not a conservative at 35 its because you're poor due to wage stagnation. Getting more right wing as you grow older only works as long you also have more money as you get older.

In recent years it's been shifting towards the poorly educated with dead-end jobs in states with moribund economies retreating into the Right Wing as they get older, especially as it exploits their hatred, distilling it, until there's nothing else left for them to hang on to
