Crowd size of both was hardly fringe, and I didn't see any 'other kinds' of Conservatives criticizing them. The only people criticizing them were Liberals and Leftists who Conservatives maligned. As they bad guys. Even when one of the Rightys ran someone over and kill her, Conservatives blamed her call this and called her fat just to make sure everybody understood she really deserved to get murdered.
There is no "we Conservatives" nor any representative or platform for them. There's a bunch of people that may identify as Conservatives, mainly phonies, and barely Conservative, if ever. They just like to pretend that they have more conservative values than certain other folks for whom they think cartoonish stereotypes apply including stereotypes of themselves but only worse.
So they take all the horrible low-life things they do, and accept that as some sort of norm and thus base sample or control, and thus the kinky deviants up north must be far far farther worse than they are. Because those other people don't have values. Right?
Want to see a Conservative? Go to most countries outside of the decadent US and Canada and Western Europe. Conservatives in America are basically people who still wear Hippie hair & beards and think smoking pot and doing meth is okay because they're not psychedelic mushrooms.
