My point was that rich people will pay the one time exit tax rather than stay and pay the ridiculously hugh taxes every year.

I would too if I lived on NYC. But then you could not pay me enough to live in NYC. And I am very happy to have gotten out of California almost 26 years ago.

BTW I'm not rich. Not even close. I believe ALL taxation is theft. The government doesn't earn that money, they just come and take it from us by force. That's evil.

I agree. The government should be funded by things like road tolls and tariffs.

We need to keep our military strong and that costs a lot of money. We might have to have a national sales tax or flat tax. And if we do then it must have a ceiling that it can never exceed.

But the less the government steals from us the better.

I'm ok with removing all taxes except sales tax.

The trolls will still brag the city is the best in the world. Apparently, they dislike all the others.
