You keep pivoting. We were talking about the IRA and Timothy McVeigh. They didn't do it in the name of their religion. Unlike the Islamic terrorists. The whole catholic vs Protestant thing was a long time ago and purely about expression of religion. They both outlawed the other.

They do it in the name of their nation, a nationalist movement that was started by the Nazis and then picked up by the CIA with the British along for the ride pretending that they're actually still active in world politics. Almost as active as when the British butchered people in a quarter of the world for three centuries in the name of their King and of their God.

And the identity of the IRA isn't exactly coincidentally wrapped in its identification as a Catholic terrorist group. While the 'Troubles' were not actually sectarian like everybody liked to pretend it was, the identity of the people was still very much a religious one as it was an ethnic one. It wasn't called a Catholic versus Protestant thing just to confuse everybody else.

Islamic terrorists by definition do their deeds in the name of their religion. The British did it for glory and for their king. The church almost never attached it's name to those wars because it would look bad if they lost.

Islamic terrorists do what they do for the sake of not just for nation, but an extermist nationalist movement Germany, UK & US seeded in order to utilize them as proxies.
