I had to read up on that now, as apparently I was the only one in my generation that didn't watch the show back then.

So Farr was actually from there, and he heavily promoted it on the show, particularly with the Toledo Mud Hens baseball team and Tony Packo's restaurant.

Watching the military hating woke left crying about the rebuilding of our military is great fun. The joes have always had twisted humor, anyone that ever served in combat arms will tell you gay jokes and insults are common. More important than being politically correct despite all the stupid DEI slide shows and the other BS that went with them was ability. The joes didn't really care what or who someone loved as long as they could do their jobs and carry their share of the load. The lefts mistake was taking things to far, pushing weakness on our military is why things are changing, let the left cry, this is all on them.

I served with a guy who was gay but he was a good troop, no one really cared or made an issue of it because he was a good truth and he didn't make an issue of it it's just who he was. I remember one night I was taking a late shower and he came in he didn't want to offend me he said he could come back I was like no no worries man I'm just about done here it wasn't an issue until they made it an issue
