Exactly, but the fact of the matter is that by cheering for the murder of someone they hate (while, in many cases, also openly praying that other people would do this to other conservatives), they are also basically saying that they'd have done it themselves if they were able to do so.
Not compared to those countries, but to other western nations like many in Europe. True, ours is also partisan, but at least it's not so extreme that they might as well up up a sign that says "I'm all for this side of politics!"
They didn't censor the news (mostly because all news media in the US aside from Fox is blatantly on the left's side), but they did censor some of the biggest social media sites in their favor. Hell, Zuckerberg himself openly said that the Biden administration "asked" him to remove all pro-conservative stuff from Facebook. And before Musk bought Twitter, they also did pretty much the same. Hell, BlueSky's STILL doing the same under the guise of "fighting hate speech".
